MARGAO: Curtorim MLA Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco on Tuesday urged the government to initiate the process to preserve the old structure of Hospicio Hospital, which is in very bad condition.
Aleixo Reginaldo has written a letter to the Chief Minister and Health Minister in this regards and called for an urgent attention.
“The Hospicio Hospital structure is in bad condition. It has a history of 150 years and to date this old hospital serves as an important district hospital to the non-Coronavirus patients of South Goa, as the opening up of new district hospital has been delayed for non-COVID patients,” he stated.
