MARGAO: Navelim MLA Luizinho Faleiro on Monday said the impression of “Bhivpachi Goroz Na” created earlier, no longer holds in the present day situation and called upon the people to take care of their health.
The process of distributing AYUSH authorised immunity booster tablets to the constituents was initiated in Navelim.
Faleiro with the cooperation of all the panchayats in the constituency will distribute the tablets to each household in Navelim.
Faleiro said that unlike what is reportedly happening in other constituencies, there shall be no discrimination in the distribution, as such the tablets will be distributed through each and every local representative irrespective of his or her affiliation.
“As far as the fight against COVID-19 is concerned, only our united efforts will bear fruits”, he said.
Handing over the immunity booster tablets to the sarpanchas and panchas, he requested them to explain to the people, the manner in which the doses have to be taken.
He further appealed to one and all to strictly follow social distancing and wear masks, as these are the only time tested measures that can keep oneself away from the coronavirus.
Navelim sarpanch Beblinda Gonsalves, deputy sapanch Paulo Pereira, panchas of Navelim, Aquem Baixo, Davorlim-Dicarpale, Telaulim and Rumdamol were present.
