With the introduction of Kadamba buses from Manohar International Airport to Margao, Panjim, and Mapusa as an alternative against expensive taxis by the govt. Morjim Taxi Owners Association president Sanjay Kole suggested that a Kadamba should also drive all 40 MLA to the Assembly session.
He stated that taxpayers’ money is wasted on the security of each MLA. He suggested that the two police jeeps should be provided for the bus. He cited that the government constantly blames the taxi men for looting tourists when there are bigger establishments with expensive prices that loot the tourists.
