VASCO: The newly elected Mormugao Municipal Council (MMC) Chairperson Leo Rodrigues inspected the Vasco temporary fish market shed and hinted at shifting the roadside fruit vendors in the same place in order to decongest the main road.
Mormugao Councillor Shami Salkar, Chief Officer Jayant Tari and the contractor accompanied him during the inspection.
After inspection, Rodrigues said that he inspected the temporary fish market shed because there were grievances of the fish market vendors and that the municipality will now construct an additional temporary shed for vendors, who were facing hardships during monsoon.
