MMC cracks whip on illegal garage at Madel

MARGAO, JULY 2
The Margao Municipal Council on Friday cracked a whip against the garage located in the fields at Madel.
The Municipal action follows a 48-hour deadline served by the GPCC General Secretary Vijay Sardessai to remove the garbage or face the wrath of the residents of Madel.
This morning, a MMC team visited the spot to raze down the structure, but the owner sought some time to clear the illegality.
However, after give some time, the MMC team returned back to the site and raze down a kiosk. The team also disconnected electric supply to the garage.
