The Mormugao Municipal Council (MMC) has invited percentage rate tenders from eligible surveyors and agencies to conduct an aerial drone survey and volumetric analysis of waste spread across nearly 12,000 square metres at the designated Sada dumping site.
The project, estimated at Rs 1.29 lakh (excluding GST), will require the use of drones to survey the site, generate detailed reports, and provide before-and-after imagery as part of the remediation process. According to the tender document, the waste volume at the site is estimated at around 19,200 cubic metres.
Only agencies or surveyors holding valid Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) permission for drone operations are eligible to apply. The first survey is to be completed within 15 days, followed by a final survey within the next 15 days, officials confirmed.
The last date for submission of applications is October 7, while tender forms can be purchased until October 9. Sealed tenders will be accepted up to 3 pm on October 14 and will be opened the same day at 3.30 pm in the presence of bidders.
Further details and terms are available with MMC’s technical section during working hours.
