MAPUSA: Mapusa Municipal Council on Wednesday resolved to construct a futsal ground and to start the work of the long pending issue of the market.
A special council meeting was conveyed by Chairperson of Mapusa Municipal Council Shubhangi Vaingankar on Wednesday to discuss the proposal of constructing a Futsal Ground at Dattawadi in Mapusa and to take up development of Municipal Market spending Rs 10 crore.
Shubhangi said that the council unanimously decided to construct the Futsal Ground near Kamat Garden in Dattawadi for the benefit of the youth since there is no such ground in Mapusa. The council also resolved to take up the development of Mapusa market wherein Rs 10 crore have been sanctioned.
