MARGAO: The Margao Municipal Council (MMC) in its anti-encroachment drive confiscated goods worth over Rs 1 lakh.
The drive was conducted by Market Inspectors Seema Ghodge and Hasina Shaikh. Plastic covers, garments, vessels, footwear and other goods which were being sold along the footpaths were confiscated by the inspectors along with their teams.
The Chief officer informed that the drive would continue in future.
