MARGAO: Acting on the advisories issued to prevent spread of Coronavirus, the Margao Municipal Council through an order has temporarily discontinued the use of biometric attendance punching machine for their employees. The employees of MMC will have to manually sign register for attendance till further orders.
The employees have welcomed the step of Chief Officer Ajit Panchwadkar. The MMC has at least 300 employees who use the biometric machine daily several times.
