MARGAO: The local monitoring committee of Animal Births Control (ABC) held a meeting where strategies to achieve their targets regarding stray dogs in the jurisdiction of Margao Municipal Council (MMC) were discussed.
MMC Chief Officer Agnelo Fernandes said, “Based on the survey, MMC will chalk out a plan to deal with the ABC programme.”
The CO also informed the committee about the draft Expression of Interest (EOI) that had been prepared for appointing an agency of Animal Welfare Programme and that the same had been referred to the State government for vetting.
