MARGAO: The Margao Municipal Council is set to discuss levying charges on properties failing to pay house tax on time and revising fees for civic services at a meeting on June 23. The 22-point agenda meeting
is expected to be lengthy and will also discuss seeking Supreme Court orders to register three BS4 chassis trucks with the Assistant director of Transport in Margao.
Due to a shortage of workers at the Sonsoddo waste management site, the council is proposing to hire more workers on a contract basis. Other agenda items include forming a Child Protection Committee and constructing a shed at Sonsoddo.
