MARGAO: The Margao Municipal Council at its first meeting today decided to form a new committee for sanitation and garbage besides the existing standing committee and subject committee, disclosed chairperson Lyndon Pereira.
While the standing committee will have eight members, the subject committee will have five members and the composition of the sanitation and garbage committee is yet to be decided. Elections to all the committees will be held next week.
