MARGAO: Margao Municipal Council will be recruiting 50 workers on temporary basis to attend to pre-monsoon works and attend to any emergency calls of trees falling etc during the monsoons.
The Walk in interviews will be held on May 24, from 10 am onwards by the Chief Officer.
The temporary workers will work till September 29 and have 24 hours duty every alternate days and will be paid Rs 500 per day. Those interested are asked to carry their bank details and Aadhaar Card for the interview.
While Rs 350 will be paid from the government funds, the balance Rs 150 will be paid from municipal funds.
