VASCO: Multi-agency mock exercise was conducted by Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) in Mormugao Port Trust (MPT) with participation with NDRF, Bogda Police, Dog Squad of Goa Police, ATS, BDDS, MPT Hospital and fire wing on Thursday morning.
The subject of this mock drill was “Terrorist attack in MPT and damaging of Ammonia tank of M/s Zuari located inside the MPT Port.” The objective of the mock drill was to assess the capabilities of the various security agencies and to improve the coordination for effective counter for any terrorist attack in port area.
The mock drill was conducted under the supervision of Kuldeep Bhagat, deputy commandant CISF, and Mamlatdar Satish Prabhu. An assault team of CISF commandos and ATS of Goa Police conducted joint operation and neutralised two terrorists.
