The ZP elections for 50 wards – 25 in each of the two districts would be held on March 18, while the counting will take place on March 19 and 20.
Total 20 seats have been reserved for other backward classes and for the Scheduled Castes and 17 seats are reserved for women at the ZP elections. The filing of nominations for the elections would begin from February 28 and will end on March 4.
The scrutiny of the applications would be done on March 5 while the last date for withdrawal is March 7.
