PANJIM: The State government-appointed expert panel on Thursday submitted its report on the Medium of Instruction at the elementary education.
The 17-member panel, headed by educationist Bhaskar Nayak, gave the final touches to the report during a meeting before submitting the report to Education Secretary Nila Mohanan.
Speaking to Herald, Nayak said the report with a focus on quality of education has been submitted to the government. He refused to disclose extracts of the report stating that “it is prerogative of State government”. “It is for the government to decide on the report,” he said.
The expert panel headed by Nayak was formed over two years ago on July 15, 2016 by the then government headed by Laxmikant Parsekar.
The committee was supposed to submit its report to the government on December 31, last month.
