MAPUSA: Ravi Naik, a Moira resident, has been booked by Mapusa police for assaulting and threatening local panch Lavu Thakur over previous enmity.
According to police, Thakur filed a complaint alleging that on Wednesday afternoon the accused assaulted him in the panchayat premises and threatened him using filthy language.

Mapusa police have registered a case under Sections 451, 323 and 506 of IPC.
