PANJIM: The North Goa District Collector on Thursday issued notification bringing more Panjim city areas under pay parking ambit.
The roads brought under pay parking are roads around municipal fish market, municipal market and basement and surrounding road of market area.
As per the rates notified, upto four hours an amount of Rs four will be charged while from four hours to 12 hours Rs eight would be charged and above 12 hours Rs 15 will be charged for two wheelers. For four wheelers, for one hour Rs 20 would be charged while Rs 15 will be charged for every extra hour beyond one hour.
The pay parking would be for 24×7.
