VASCO: Mormugao BJP Mandal on Thursday warned Goa Pradesh Congress Committee Vice President Sankalp Amonkar to give unconditional apology within three days failing which he will have to face legal action.

Former Mormugao Municipal Council councillor Leo Rodrigues also challenged Amonkar to win against him in municipal election in Ward Number 9 and then dream of winning Assembly election.

During the press conference, Mandal President Sanjay Satardekar stated that recently a ship was anchored at the MPT and stevedoring was done by the company of Milind Naik. But Amonkar is making allegations that theft of the cargo is happening at the port which does not hold the truth.

“In reality that cargo has been e-auctioned by Directorate of Mines and Geology (DMG) to one party and that person has brought the vessel at the Port and Naik’s company was doing stevedoring. The cargo is legal and there is a permit for it. Considering all these things, the allegations made by the GPCC vice chief are baseless,” he said.

“We give Amonkar three days ultimatum to give unconditional apology for levelling serious allegations against Naik,” he added.
