PANJIM: Mormugao BJP MLA Milind Naik on Wednesday played down allegations levelled against him as well as speculation about infighting within the party.
Naik was responding to queries from media persons about certain allegations levelled against him ahead of the Mormugao municipal elections.
He stated that he doesn’t want to give any attention to the allegations against him and that such allegations do not affect him in anyway.
He also said that BJP party was wise enough to take the right decisions regarding the election campaign and its leaders when asked about rumours of infighting between sections of the party in connection with the upcoming polls.
“There is no question of there being a need for unity. We are all united (within BJP) and are confident of winning the municipal elections (in Mormugao),” Naik added.
