Mormugao BJP MLAs slammed for keeping Vasco ‘underdeveloped’

VASCO: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Goa has come heavily on the BJP MLAs from Mormugao taluka, especially the Vasco MLA for failing to carry out development in the port town for the past decade.

NCP Goa chief Jose Philip D’Souza claimed that despite having four BJP MLAs in Mormugao taluka, the port town has remained far away from the development due to lack of will power and vision to carry out development.

At the press conference in Vasco, D’Souza expressed his anguish over the underdevelopment which has plagued the port town, which houses vital infrastructure.

He blamed the councillors, local MLAs and the BJP government for their complete failure to complete major public utility works such as KTC bus stand, fish market complex, municipal administration building, chief officer’s bungalow, etc.
