MARGAO: The mother of John Dias, who has been shot dead in the USA, besides his close friends are eagerly waiting for the mortal remains of a young footballer back home, as two other youth from Chandor itself, working in Houston, are engaged in carrying out legal formalities. Derrick Pereira, panch member of Village Panchayat Chandor, said all are waiting for the mortal remains of John back home for the final rites.
“Two youths namely Melborn Peixeto and Roy Pereira are helping in doing the legal formalities in USA in order to send the mortal remains of John back to Goa. Those two youths are also from Chandor village, and they know John personally”, said Derrick.
