MARGAO: A mother of a minor 16 years girl has complaint that her daughter was raped by one Badal, native of West Bengal who is presently absconding. An offence under section 376 IPC, section 8 of Goa Children Act and section 4 of BOPSCO has been registered against accused Badal.
PI Gurudas Kadam of Maina Curtorim police informed that the mothernoticed some physical change in the girl and when she was taken to doctor to her shock the mother was told that the girl was pregnant. The girl has been referred to medical examinations.
