Pernem: Motorcycle pilots from Pernem have sought the Chief Minister’s attention to their plight and have appealed to the government to provide them with financial relief.
The Pernem Motorcycle Pilot Association has accused local MLA and Deputy Chief Minister Babu Azgaonkar of turning a blind eye to them and for failing to even help them with supply of essential commodities.
The pilots who moved out of their house on Friday to appeal to the government, said that they have been indoors since the lockdown began and haven’t been able to feed their families or pay other expenses like insurance.
