MARGAO: Fatorda Police last night at around 1:30 am succeeded in arresting the person who is suspected to have stolen a motorcycle on Thursday morning from near Holy Spirit Church at Margao.
Harish Shaikh, native of Kolhapur but presently residing at Raia, had complained that on Thursday morning his Honda Unicorn motorcycle worth around Rs 84,000 was stolen from where it was parked near Holy Spirit Church.
Last night at around 1.30 police traced the motorcycle at Miramar Panjim and arrested 35-year-old Alexander Dorji Siar a native of Nepal but residing in Panjim and working as a cook in a hotel. Police have got four-day custody of the accused.
