According to the Canacona police, a Karnataka Road Transport Corporation bus dashed a swift car from the rear, which ran over an oncoming Splendor motorcycle, seriously injuring the motorcyclist and his pillion.
The injured motorcyclist Arjun Shanu Velip (40) and the pillion Kamalakar Velip were taken to Hospicio Hospital at Margao. However, Arjun died before reaching the hospital.
Sources say that Arjun leaves behind three little children.
