VALPOI: Motorists in Sattari have demanded to repaint the speed bumps in the taluka as they are proving to be dangerous for the two-wheeler riders. Four mishaps have been reported in the last 15 days due to the speed bumps not being painted.
There are multiple speed bumps in the taluka near schools, colleges, hospitals, temples etc to slow down the traffic, but there are no signboards to caution the motorists and hence they are taken by surprise. The paint on the bumps have also faded. These speed bumps are present on prominent routes of Valpoi which goes to Nagargao-Thane, Savorde, Guleli, etc.
