Movement of water-borne vessels stopped

PANJIM: The Captain of Ports (CoP) department has notified that navigation/movement of all water-borne vessels in the Cumbarjua Canal at Gaundaulim will be stopped from 12 am on April 25 to 12 am on May 6.

PANJIM: The Captain of Ports (CoP) department has notified that navigation/movement of all water-borne vessels in the Cumbarjua Canal at Gaundaulim will be stopped from 12 am on April 25 to 12 am on May 6.
In a press note, the CoP has notified that S P Singla Construction Pvt Ltd will be undertaking the works of launching of the Central Navigational span of the New Bridge under construction at Gaundaulim, in the Cumbarjua Canal. 
“Navigation/movement of all the water-borne vessels in the Cumbarjua Canal at Gaundaulim is ‘Totally Stopped’ from 12 am on April 25 to 12 am on May 6.
“All owners/masters of barges, passenger launches, ferry boats, tindels of fishing trawlers and operators of the mechanized and non-mechanized crafts, including the tourist boats, cruise boats, etc plying in Cumbarjua Canal are cautioned not to navigate through the Cumbarjua Canal at Gaundaulim during the entire period mentioned above and strictly adhere to the on-the-spot instructions issued by the patrolling boats,” the press note adds.
