VASCO: The Mormugao Port Authority (MPA) celebrated National Safety Week which concluded on Monday.
Director of Goa Fire and Emergency Services Nitin V Raiker was the chief guest and MPA Deputy Chairman Guruprasad Rai presided over the valedictory function.
On the occasion, prizes were awarded to winners of various competitions such as slogan, essay writing, drawing and power-point presentation on safety theme held during the week.
Later, MPA Safety Officer Vidyadhar Durgekat proposed a vote of thanks.
