PANJIM, FEB 4: “High handedness” of Mormugao Port Trust (MPT) yet again became subject of heated discussion in the House on the concluding day of the Winter Session of Goa Assembly on Friday.
The Chief Minister Digambar Kamat however said the Centre has asked MPT to work hand-in-hand with Goa government.
A group has been formed consisting of three secretaries with chief secretary at the helm of affairs, to work out each problem pertaining to MPT and a meeting with new chairman is already held, Kamat said as members along with Opposition Leader Manohar Parrikar raked up the issue during “Question Hour.”
Mormugao MLA, Milind Naik had tabled a question pertaining to various projects of MPT approved by the MoEF and GSPCB .
