Vasco: Following a decision by the Central government that no cruise ship from any foreign destination be allowed to call on Indian ports, MPT’s traffic department has issued a trade notice that it will not allow any cruise vessel to enter the port from March 7 till March 31 following the outbreak and rapid spread of the Coronavirus cases all over the world.
The notice signed by the Deputy Chairman of MPT has been addressed to the President of Mormugao Stevedores Association and President of Mormugao Steamers Agents Association. Further it has requested that the notice be circulate among the association members and other business associates so that more awareness is created on the issue.
