Multi-facility community mobile app to be launched on Friday

PANJIM: ‘Gomantak Bhandari Samaj’ will launch India’s first multi-facility community mobile app “Jai Bhandari” on December 31, Friday, at Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industries (GCCI), Panjim, at 4 pm. 

Addressing the media persons, here, on Tuesday, Amay Naik, Youth President of Tiswadi Taluka, briefed about the sequence of features added to the mobile application. 

The multiple features of the app include online enrolment of community individuals which will help track the data count of individuals belonging to the community.  In addition, the ‘business listing’ feature will help the samaj entrepreneurs to advertise their business on the app. 

Adding to this, Amay said, “The entrepreneurs can also use this platform for advertising the vacancies present in their firm. This will serve dual purpose; the entrepreneur may find a candidate of their choice via this platform and the youth will get employment opportunity.” 

Adding further, he said, “The matrimonial feature is added to the app with restricted viewing and will be charged at a nominal cost.  The mobile application will also consist of date-wise list of events to be held in near future that will keep the individuals updated about the socio-cultural events.” 

Stating that the estimated cost of development of app was Rs 3.25 lakh, he further added that the app will be available on “Google Play Store” to download.

Vice- President of Gomantak Bhandari Samaj Shailesh Vaigankar, Sunil Naik and others were present for the briefing.
