MAPUSA: In a tragic incident, a six-year-old boy from Mumbai died due to drowning in a swimming pool of a resort at Candolim.
The tragedy occurred at around 1.50 pm. The parents immediately took the boy to a private hospital at Candolim and then to the Primary Health Centre (PHC), Candolim where the doctors on duty declared him brought dead.
The Calangute Police conducted the panchanama and later handed over the body to the relatives after conducting a post-mortem examination at the Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC), Bambolim.
