Residents of Munang Wada, Morjim have been living without water in their homes for the last 15 to 20 days. The paucity of supply in the neighbourhood is not new but the situation has aggravated.
Constant calls to the Local MLA, the Public Works Dept’s Junior Engineer and the contractor go unanswered leaving the people frustrated and forcing them to gherao the pump operator. The residents alleged that the water is diverted to the hotels in the area. While the people thirst for water, the dusty dug-up roads add to their health woes.
