MAPUSA: Artist Shireen Mody was cremated on Wednesday while her gardener was cremated on Tuesday itself after the body was handed over to the family.
The autopsy on the body of artist Shireen Mody’s gardener has revealed that the gardener, Praful Jena had died due to suspected poisoning and hence his viscera has been preserved for post mortem toxicological analysis.
Anjuna PI Suraj Gawas, who took charge on Wednesday, informed that there were injury marks found on the head of the gardener as he fell while trying to escape.
