MARGAO: South Goa Collector Anjali Sherawat vide an order dated 26th March 2018 has banned the entry of members of Sri Ram Sene and its leader Pramod Muthalik in South Goa for 60 days following a report from Superintendent of Police, South.
The ban is imposed following a report of SP South that there was a fear of communal tension and difficulty to maintain peace and harmony in the district as Muthalik or Ram Sene members are likely to cause enmity with their communal speeches.
Following Muthalik acquittal in some cases in Karnataka some right wing organisations in Goa had demanded that he be allowed to visit Goa.
