PANJIM: Rohit Monserrate, Mayor of Corporation of City of Panaji (CCP) said his vision is to make Panjim a cultural hub of Goa. “Making Panjim a culture hub is a slow process and needs a lot of aspects to be considered”, added Mayor.
He was speaking at the occasion of flagging off of an inaugural walk festival – know your city, on Saturday. The walk from Panjim Post Office to Fontainhas via Sao Tomé was organised by the Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry Tourism Committee in association with the Corporation of City of Panaji (CCP) and Goa Heritage Action Group.
More 10 to 13 such walks will start from March 26 till April 9.
