Nadda to visit State on July 12

PANJIM: The two-day visit of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president J P Nadda to Goa has been delayed by a day and he will now arrive in the State on July 12, informed Chief Minister Pramod Sawant.

Sawant said that Nadda was earlier scheduled to visit Goa on July 11 but the same has now been postponed by a day.

During his visit, Nadda will meet party ministers, MLAs and office-bearers and take stock of the organisation, review party activities and boost the morale of the cadre ahead of Assembly elections scheduled in March next year.

In December last, Nadda had announced that he will embark on 120-day tour of all States to review party activities, boost morale of party cadre and prepare a roadmap for the 2024 Lok Sabha polls as well as State elections. But the tour across the country was delayed due to COVID-19 pandemic, informed party sources.
