VALPOI: Nagargao village panchayat held a special gram sabha on Monday, which was attended by around 50 villagers.
Two important issues were discussed in the gram sabha, including the need to conduct a survey of all public traditional ways and pathways which are not shown on survey plans and mark the same on survey plans.
Besides, it was also proposed that all cattle from Nagargao panchayat should be registered with the panchayat.
It may be noted that there are no proper ways and pathways to the most of the agricultural field, as well as residential houses in Sattari taluka.
Some people were also blocking the pathway and the Government was facing difficulty in constructing pathways as it is not shown on survey plans.
