PONDA: Former Chief Minister and Ponda MLA Ravi Naik and many congress workers today celebrated Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar birth anniversary by offering floral tribute to a portrait of Dr Ambedkar.
Naik said Dr. Ambedkar became barrister through hard work. He revisited Dr Ambedkar’s contribution to bring equality in society and justice to Dalits in India as along with Dalits, other backward communities were facing atrocities and deprived of equal rights.
Reminding that he was the architect of Constitution of India, Naik insisted that discarding the caste based discrimination would be the true tribute to the contribution of Dr. Ambedkar.
