CURCHOREM: The BJP South Goa candidate Pallavi Dempo entered Curchorem for her campaign where she said that during the BJPs tenure, many facilities, development projects and schemes for the people were being implemented in the state with the help of the Centre. The BJP is implementing schemes like free ration for five lakh people of the State, free insurance for senior citizens, special schemes for women’s health and skill and mudra schemes for the youth. Nari Shakti has a high place in the BJP’s manifesto, she said, urging the people to vote for the BJP and to make Modi once again Prime Minister.
Dempo later addressed meetings at Xeldem panchayat hall and Assolda panchayat hall. In the evening, Dempo participated in a roadshow organised on the route via Shri Sateri Devasthana–Bepkegal– Railway Station–Gas Society–Petrol Pump and GSUDA Market. This was followed by a meeting with the minority community at Pongirval and then members of various Devasthan samitis, social organisations, music centres, yellow and black motorcycles and rickshaw associations.

Meanwhile Curchorem MLA Nilesh Cabral who accompanied her said “Chief Minister Pramod Sawant is capable enough to deal with matters falling under the purview of the State government. Today, we have got an educated woman candidate Pallavi Dempo to raise the issues of development works that come under the Central government
Addressing a meeting, Cabral said, “We must work together and see to it that BJP’s Pallavi Dempo is elected, so as to strengthen the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. We must give our contribution from Goa for ‘Abki Baar 400 Paar.”
