The Courtyard of Narsimha Sateri Sanstha at Chicalim was lit up with a dazzling display of 5,001 oil lamps on Sunday as part of the ‘Sahastra Deep Prajwalan.’ People of all ages gathered in large numbers to light up the lamps to commemorate the festival of lights. The lamp lighting ceremony was organised by the Rotaract club of Vasco Da Gama, Rotary club of Vasco Da Gama, Rotary Club of Port Town, Samraat club of Vasco Da Gama, Inner wheel club Vasco Da Gama and Shree Ram sports and cultural club Vasco Da Gama.
