PANJIM: With his name missing from the two lists of candidates announced by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), former Deputy Chief Minister Dayanand Narvekar has kept options open to join Congress.
Speaking to the media on Sunday, Narvekar said he will contest from Porvorim constituency either on the symbol of AAP or Congress.
Narvekar had joined AAP a few months ago and awarded with the post of chairman of the party’s campaign committee.
Earlier, Narvekar had said that he will contest from Aldona, where he was defeated in 2012 elections.
“I am contesting from Porvorim. I like to have a big fight. I have a choice to contest either on AAP or Congress but not on TMC or BJP,” he said adding that he will start consulting his workers and supporters from Monday.
