Narvekar pushes for income bar

PANJIM: In a twist to the reservation issue, former Congress minister Dayanand Narvekar, has written to the national vice Rahul Gandhi, pushing for a income bar in reservations so that those with total family income over over Rs 6 lakh per annum are not eligible.

PANJIM: In a twist to the reservation issue, former Congress minister Dayanand Narvekar, has written to the national vice Rahul Gandhi, pushing for a income bar in reservations so that those with total family income over over Rs 6 lakh per annum are not eligible.
Stating that he had suggested that benefits of all government schemes like fees, technical education fees, non technical education fees, MBBS fees should be given to the people whose family income is less than Rs 6 lakh per annum in Goa and to be given to creamy layer irrespective of caste.
