Sports Minister Govind Gaude has declared that Goa will be ready to host the National Games in December as the state will require 45 days for the codal formalities. 2022 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup is slated to begin in October; Gaude informed that the infrastructure for that will be ready by August. He said that he will demand a 2 per cent reservation in government jobs for sportspersons who represented Goa in national and international tournaments.
