National Games: Traffic advisory for travellers headed to Dabolim Airport today

MARGAO: In preparation for the opening ceremony of the 37th National Games on Thursday, the Goa Police Traffic Cell has issued a traffic advisory. The advisory specifies that traffic flow will be affected on certain roads during the inaugural event, scheduled from 2.30 pm to 8.30 pm.

For travellers heading to Dabolim Airport, the following alternate routes are recommended:

From North Goa (Panjim side): Agasaim–Old Zuari Bridge– Cortalim Junction–NH-366–St Jacinto Island–Chicalim Junction –Airport junction–Grade separator–Airport.

From South Goa (Margao/Ponda side): Eastern Bypass–Arlem Circle–SH-5 Raia–Borim Tolnaka–Rassaim–Thana Cortalim– Cortalim Junction–NH-366–St Jacinto Island–Chicalim Junction –Airport junction–Grade separator– Airport.

 Furthermore, alternate routes are available for commuters mov-ing from South to North district, or vice versa: From Vasco to Panjim: Chicalim Junction–NH-366–St Jacinto Island–Cortalim–up ramp to the new Zuari Bridge.

 From Margao to Panjim: Eastern Bypass–Arlem Circle–SH-5 Raia–Borim Tolnaka–Rassaim–Thana Cortalim–Cortalim Junc-tion–up ramp to the new Zuari Bridge.
