MARGAO: Navelim BJP organised a condolence meeting in memory of former chief minister Manohar Parrikar, at Rumdamol Davorlim Panchayat hall.
The meet was attended by former Fatorda MLA Damu Naik, Zilla Parishad member Ulhas Tuenkar, panch Narendra Naik, Navelim BJP Mandal chief Damodar Naik, Sarvanand Bhagat and others.
Damu Naik said Parrikar was always compassionate to the people of Goa and never let religion and castes come in the way of his help.
“Bahujan Samaj of Goa was given priority by Parrikar which helped all to come on par with the society. Bahujan Samaj has now got to the positions of councillors, MLAs and ministers too due to the work and sacrifice put in by Parrikar,” informed Damu Naik.
