Navelim daylight robbery:accused identified

The two accused arrested by the Margao police in connection with the daring daylight robbery at Navelim last month have been identified by a witness and the complainant.
Meanwhile, the police has attached a Tata Indica car and a Karizma motorcycle, besides cash of Rs 40,000 and Rs 12,000 from the possession of the two accused hailing from Moti Dongor respectively. Gold ornaments worth Rs 1.70 lakh have also been attached from the accused persons.
PSI Ravi Dessai told Herald that the police have attached the vehicles and the valuables to verify the source from where they received them.
Further investigations are on.
