VASCO: Continuing its outreach activities, Goa Naval Area aided in mitigating distress of local populace during the ongoing lockdown to prevent the spread of COVID-19, by distributing 900 kg of groceries at Vasco, Chicalim and Chicolna-Bogmalo.
Further at Vasco, the items were handed over by INS Hansa to the local MLA for distribution amongst needy families and elderly.
At Chicalim Panchayat, the items were handed over to the Sarpanch and relief material was received by Lorena D’Cunha at Chicolna-Bogmalo Panchayat.Earlier, Goa naval area personnel have supplied food items to the needy, poor people from surrounding area.
