NCP condemns Parulekar’s statement on rape

PANJIM: Tourism Minister Dilip Parulerkar’s statement calling the men involved in the gang rape of two Delhi girls “naïve” adding that “such stray incidents are bound to take place in tourist destination like Goa” drew anger from the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP).

Condemning the statement, Trajano D’Mello spokesperson, NCP said, “The statement indicates that the mind of the tourism minister is darkened and his heart is blackened.”
The NCP have asked for the home minister to clear and express his views on Parulekar’s statement.
